Ao desafiar os produtores em avan\u00e7ar rumo a agroind\u00fastria, ele destacou algumas iniciativas como o Frigor\u00edfico Piauhy e a Latic\u00ednio Vale do Gurgueia, rec\u00e9m anunciadas. “A agroind\u00fastria gera mais emprego e renda para o nosso povo, e \u00e9 isso que nos move e nos une”, afirmou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Os produtores de Nova Santa Rosa, segundo ele, eram agricultores familiares no Rio Grande do Sul e vieram para o Piau\u00ed tentar a sorte. Moraram em lonas e foram crescendo mantendo o modelo de associativismo ou cooperativismo profissionalizado. “Aqui eles continuam. S\u00e3o mais de 100 produtores. A agricultura familiar do Nordeste tem que ir cada vez mais na dire\u00e7\u00e3o do cooperativismo profissionalizado.
